The Curtis sits on the town square, a mere two blocks from the beach, and within steps to the Post Office, shops, the soda fountain, shuffleboard, tennis courts, and library.

The facility has 20 simply furnished, private rooms available seasonally including singles, twins, doubles, and a two-room family unit. Bed linens are provided and guests receive access to shared bathrooms. 2025 season details can be found here.

Dining roomPublic spaces include a gracious first floor living room suitable for games or socializing, a third floor sitting room, and a second floor sitting room with cable TV.

This traditional guest house has simple accommodations, full kitchen privileges with use of shared refrigerator, and the use of two modest dining rooms for enjoying your self-prepared meals.

You might also choose to start each morning with delicious fresh baked cinnamon buns from the nearby Ocean Park Subs, Grocery, and Pizza or enjoy breakfast on the patio of the Ocean Park Soda Fountain.

Wide front porches—furnished with rocking chairs—catch the sea breeze and offer a view of the Memorial Library and Furber Park across the street. After a long day of activities, relax in the afternoon on the porch with a cup of tea or take advantage of free wireless internet access. 

Discover the unique gift shops and restaurants located only steps from the Curtis. The beautiful 7-mile beach as well as scenic nature trails, bicycle destinations, shuffleboard, and clay tennis courts are also easily accessible.

Each summer the Ocean Park Association offers lectures, workshops, family programs, and opportunities for spiritual growth and renewal in a non-denominational, interfaith setting. Sunday services are held at the non-denominational Temple, an easy walk or bike ride from the Curtis.

Either by beach or by sidewalk, this historic guest house is within walking distance of the Palace Playland in Old Orchard Beach—New England's only beach front amusement park. The park dates back to 1902 and the downtown shopping district includes many tourist-oriented businesses.

Amtrak Downeaster trains arrive and depart from Boston's North Station. A seasonal stop in Old Orchard Beach serves from mid-spring through mid-fall and the station is a comfortable 20 min walk (1.1 mi) or a 7-min bike ride from the Curtis.
